Cookies

The editor does not need a cookie to store your project. It uses this device:

• kc.consent remembers Accept, Reject, or a Global Privacy Control opt-out.
• kc.age16 remembers that you confirmed you are 16 or older.
• kc.exportCredits counts unlocked free exports.
• kc.license.jwt, kc.license.key, and kc.license.instance keep a lifetime pass on this device.
• IndexedDB database kinetic-captions keeps caption edits and, when small enough, the video.

Ad scripts and their cookies load only after a choice, and only inside the export screen. Reject means the clip is requested as non-personalized. If this build has a Cookiebot id, Cookiebot is the IAB TCF consent screen and loads before ads. If it does not, the choice above is stored on this device and still blocks ad scripts until you decide.

Plausible, when configured, loads only after Accept and is not given a cookie by this app. You can reopen the choice by clearing local data on the privacy page.

Use “Do not sell or share my personal information” in the footer. That choice is the same as Reject: personalized ads and analytics stay off.
